My latest project!

Before~ you can kind of see the old upholstery underneath....

Here is my latest project...a sofa that used to be my Grandmothers, an ugly green plaid but with good bones still. I took pictures along the way...kind of a before and after. I have never done anything like this before (only a wing-back slipcover without piping)...It was alot of work but I had tons of fun doing it. Let me know what you think...I would like to begin a business redoing furniture for other people.

Heather here from Basiques....I LOVE your sofa...and I'm impressed that you did it! I have been dying to get my hands on something and give it a go! Maybe I will soon! I think you should get in the biz of re-doing!!!
Great job...and I'm still looking through all of your post.
Maybe we'll cross each others paths sometime at the Rink...I'd love to chat with ya!

That looks like it took a sweet FOREVER to finish! I can't imagine trying to coordinate all those fabrics and cuts. Great job!

Now that is funky. You make me want to get crazy with my fabric next time and mix and match it up!
